La Luna is an exclusive, stylish restaurant set in,Godalming, the heart of the leafy stockbroker belt county of Surrey.

An established restaurant endorsed by the The Good Food Guide, Time Out Eating and Drinking Guide, and the online Good Food Guide & Restaurants, Surrey, La Luna boasts an AA Rosette. The Italian restaurant has enjoyed a wide appeal, with diners from the local business man to the young family benefiting from the affordable quality cuisine.

The team behind La Luna has been rigorous in their pursuit of quality, talent and innovation. The restaurant operates under the direction of Head Chef Giovanni Puglisi, Restaurant Manager Daniele Drago and Head Sommelier Orazio Primavera.

The Chef is keen to maintain the use of excellent local produce within the food offered at La Luna. In accordance with this, menus change to reflect seasonal availability and have an emphasis towards meat, game and fish.

Specialties include: Tortelloni di Astice con Vellutata di Pesce e Zucchine (a delectable dish of homemade egg pasta filled with lobster ragout and served with a fish velluté and courgettes juliennes and Filetto di Maiale in Crosta con Gnocchetti al Gorgonzola (a tender pork fillet wrapped in ham and mushroom rolled into light puff pastry and served with potato, gnocchi in gorgonzola and rocket sauce.

 The chic monochrome main dining room is simple enough not to detract from the ambience and food offered by La Luna. Both the bar and restaurant are finished in natural materials including walnut flooring, polished glass tables and leather furniture, all of which exudes a feeling of luxury which matches both the service and food excellence.

 For a more intimate meal, opt for the private dining room, where seclusion is assured. The friendly staff are always delighted to help in the organisation of functions such as cocktail receptions, birthday parties and anniversaries, for up to 20 guests.

 The private dining room is also perfectly suited to host business meetings, lunch and dinner parties, as well as press launches and training days. La Luna can also assist in creating bespoke menus and sourcing vintage wines.

 La Luna offers an extremely comprehensive selection of Italian wines and Daniele is always delighted to explain their respective merits and guide customers towards those wines that compliment chosen menus.

 La Luna hosts popular wine tasting evenings, whereby each event features a selection of wines from one specific region of Italy with the accompaniment of specially created menus complete with tasting notes. Service excellence and chic unfussy design combined with a superb location and authentic food and wines, provides a memorable experience for all diners to this very special restaurant.
