New Series in 2009

Part of Episode 2 was filmed in Midhurst on April 27th
Starring Michael Kitchen
& Honeysuckle Weeks.

FILMING TOOK PLACE IN RED LION STREET AND CHURCH HILL
Church Cottage in Church Hill which featured in Series 5 became the site of another scene in this episode of Series 7; more precisely the courtyard between the parish church and the cottage. In the picture below fans peer from Comestibles Deli and Café through the sheeting rain towards the war memorial, and beyond to the church where the filming is taking place.

Click here for another cameo of MK munching a pastry at the end of filming. He's in civvies and you can see his patchwork quilt tie - we don't yet know the maker or the correct description - which was the fashion in the 50's among certain country types in England. Like the picture below left he's taken to wearing his trilby with a rakish insouciance with the brim turned upwards. Interesting! This dress transformation says alot and we'll discuss this with a Traditional Gents Outfitters in the town and print their observations. Keep looking in!
