Needle Felt Christmas Decoration.
Make delightful Christmas decorations using needle-felting techniques - to hang on your own tree or to give as unique gifts. This workshop is suitable for beginners.
1 day course from 2nd December at 10.30 - 3.30 and the 4th December at 10.30 -3.30. Limited spaces.

Kumihimo Coming Soon.
"Kumi" means " coming together" and "himo" describes a length of cord. Together they refer to the way of making braids.
In this introductory workshop we will use a cord loom with wool and cotton yarns to learn the basics of this braiding technique.
The decorative braids produced can then be used to make into jewellery, to embellish garments, etc.

Introduction to Wet Felting.
This one day course is suitable for beginners and includes preparation of the fleece to finished felt.There is also an opportunity to experiment with design and colour.
Students will need: apron, rubber gloves, note book and camera. (Aprons available for sale if needed. Please let me know when bookin).
I day course from the 27th October at 10.30-3.30

Knitting and Crochet Programme 2009.
Learn to Knit.
This workshop is aimed at complete beginners or those who have learnt, but would like to go back to basics. You will learn the knit stitch, then the purl stitch, casting on and off, the importance of tension, how to read a pattern and - time permitting - some basic increasing and decreasing. All materials are provided as well as tea and coffee.
2 day course from 5th - 6th October. 10 am - 1.0 pm. Limited spaces.

Intermediate Knitting.
The workshop is for knitters who dread finishing projects or often feel that their finishing work lets them down. You will also learn picking up stitches, using back stitch, how to make button holes that look proesional and Cable knitting. Please bring needles with you 3mm, 4mm and 5mm, three stitch holders and cable needles. All other materials are provided.
Should you need to buy any needles we sell them here; but you will have to bring your own stitch holders and cable needles.
2 day course from 19th October - 20th October, 10 - 1.0 pm. Limited spaces.
Price £40 including some of the materials and tea and coffee.
Learn to Crochet.
This project is based on absolute crochet novices. You will learn to hold the hook and yarn, make a chain and work double and treble crochet stitches. You learn how to make a flower. You will need 3.0, 3.5mm and 4.0mm crochet hooks - we can provide these, if you don't have them. You will also
need to bring your own scissors and a needle for sewing up. All other materials are provided.
2 day course November 2nd & 3rd. 10 - 1.0pm. Limited spaces.

Children's Saturday Morning Classes.
Aged 5 and Older.
From Saturday 3rd October until 24th October, 10-11am
Basic garter stitch, plain knitting, casting on and casting off.
Includes needles and wool.
Price £20 for the 4 week session
The next session for children will be from 7th November until 12 December 10-11am
Price £30 for the 6 weeks session.
NB. We are CRR checked.
After Christmas we will be doing the same courses again should any of you have missed the courses the first time round.
Also after Christmas there will be courses on learning to knit hats and socks also courses on Fair Isle and Lace Knitting.
General Information.
Each participant gets a full set of notes on each workshop and benefits from a 10% discount on all yarns and needles purchased on the day of the workshop.
Payment Terms: 50% of the worshop fee on booking the balance on the day of the workshop. We need two weeks notice of cancellation for a refund to be made. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Spaces are limited to 8 learners per workshop to ensure individual attention and assistance where required.
